By 2022, more people in Pakistan including women and children and the most deprived stop practicing open defecation, and have access and use safely managed water and sanitation services in rural and deprived urban areas.
Project Purpose
The overall purpose of the project is ‘improved health, nutrition and well-being of poor and vulnerable people in target district, especially of women and girls.
Sanitation
133,697 people gain sustained access to basic sanitation. 351,834 People (men, women, boys & girls) including the most vulnerable in Tehsil Ahmedpur Siyal district Jhang, live in and maintain open defecation free status.
Hygiene
351,834 People (men, women, boys and girls) including the most vulnerable in Jhang practice hand washing with soap.
